DISEASE REPORTING. To notify the Utah Department of Health of a reportable disease, please call the 24-Hour Urgent Event & Disease Reporting line at 1-888-EPI-UTAH (374-8824).
MENTAL HEALTH & SUICIDE CRISIS. If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 or the UNI CrisisLine at 801-587-3000. Medicaid customer service staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Thursday hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). PREGNANCY & BREASTFEEDING QUESTIONS. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding and have questions about medications, drugs, chemicals, and other environmental exposures that can potentially harm your baby, please call our MotherToBaby program at 1-800-822-2229. Our trained staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Questions may also be asked via text messaging at 855-999-3525 or email at expertinfo@mothertobaby.org during regular business hours.
CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT. To report possible child abuse or neglect, please call the Child Abuse Intake Hotline at 1-855-323-3237.
